教学设计


一、Teaching aims:

1、   Knowledge and ability aims:

(1) Students can read new words: mooncake lantern stranger relative put on pound

(2)  To learn the different festivals.

(3)  Can use this sentence structure: what do you like best about dragon boat festivals?   I love the races. I think that they are fun to watch.

2、   Process and method aims:

(1) Learn the new words through word cards and conversation.

(2) Through free talk and group woke to discuss different festival.

(3) Through simple conversation to practice the sentence structure.

3、 Value and attitude aim:

Lead students to learn history and cultural meanings about different festivals.

二、Key points and difficult point:

(一)Key points:

1、Students can read new words.

2、Can use this sentence structure: What do you like best about……..festival? I love the races. I think that they are fun to watch.

(二)difficult point:

Can use this sentence structure to talk about festival: what do you like best about……..festival?

五、Teaching process:

Lead-in: Free talk.

Show Ss the pictures and let them say what the festival is.

Step 1    Discussion.

1.     What is your favorite festival?

2.     Why do you like it most?

3.    What did you do at the festival?

Step 2  Activity 1b.

Listen and circle T or F.

This activity designed to students’ listening skill.

First give student two minutes to have a fast reading of the four sentences to know what to do in this activity and how to do it. Invite some students to explain the meaning of each sentence.

 Play the type twice.

The first time, students need to listen carefully to check the statements, circle T or F.

The second time, students listen and check their work.

Finally check correct answers.

Pair works.

Make a dialogue about one of the four festivals.

What a great day! What do you like best?

I love ……..

Why do you like best?/ why don’t you like… ?

Because ……….

Step 3   Free talks.

Do you know anything about the four festivals?

Than teacher Introduce to Ss about the information of some festivals.

Step 4. Teach activity 1c

   First, lead students to read the simple conversation in the box.

   Then, divide students into pairs to practice this conversation.

Encourage them to make new conversation like this to talk about the festivals in 1a.

Finally, invite several pairs to act out for the whole class.

六、Summary

In this period, we have mainly learned how to talk about festivals around the world through some listening and speaking practice.

1.   Review the conversation in activity 2d

2.   Finish the exercises in the work book.

教学分析与反思

一、课题教学分析

(一)教材分析

本节课是人教版九年级全册第二单元的第一课时听说课。本单元的话题是Festival around the world。通过学习本单元学生对一些世界各国的节假日的时间和怎么庆祝的一些信息有基本的了解。本节课初步了解泰国的泼水节、中国的端午节、元宵节和春节,并且用what do you like best about the Dragon boat festival? 来谈论节假日的一些自己的看法。

(二)学情分析

授课对象为初三年级二班,学生英语学习起点较低,学习和接受能力相对较弱,对口语表达还有对定语从句的认识和运用不太熟练,教学中教师应注重支架的搭设,以保证学生能够更好的完成学习任务。教师还要进行强调,帮助学生记忆及掌握。

二、教学反思(结合相关教学理论反思教学)

本节课是本单元的导入课,是新的目标语的呈现课。本单元的话题是讨论了解世界各国的传统节日。本节课是本单元的第一节,是听、说课。通过本单元的学习学生能够了解泰国的泼水节、中国的端午节、春节和元宵节的时间以及怎样庆祝。本节课通过听、说训练会认读本节课的新单词并且初步运用定语从句来讨论为何喜欢这些传统节日的原因。

我在课上创设了真实的语言交际情景和多样的语言交际任务,让学生在完成任务的过程中学会运用目标语言和句子谈论国内外的著名节日,感受不同的世界文化。在教学过程中我安排了小组活动帮助学生进行操练。

但是由于在组织小组活动的时候没能掌控好所以课堂气氛有点乱,任务和奖励机制没能分配好所以有些差生没能参与活动。虽然完成了教学任务但没能达到预期目标。

在以后的教学过程中小组活动的任务一定要按排明确让每个学生都参与小组活动中来。
